Welcome to Kripple Kreek Loft which was founded in 1968 in Westchester Pennsylvania and has since relocated to 8 acres in central Massachusetts with a clear view of the west where we watch our birds return from racing. The lofts were built from tongue and groove wood and stained to maintain a professional and comfortable appearance. The lofts currently have temperature controlled fans and are set to turn on with temperatures starting at 80 degrees. Ventilation purposes the lofts have low front windows allowing the air to circulate properly and the removal of stale air to escape through ceiling vents. The lofts have been equipped with skylights to allow enough sunlight and each loft has a 4x4x5 Avery.
During breeding season 25 individual breeding pens are utilized.
In 2008 we invested over 85 Thousand dollars to obtain the "Best of the Best in Proven Pigeons" the majority of my birds consist of Huysken Van Reils, mostly purchased from my mentor " Mr Lou Coletta" of CA. Most of you know Lou and how he breeds this old line of HVR's. Lou was "Master breeder" in 05 & 06, and I can attest he truly knows his birds.
Our Mussolini's were purchased from our good friend Mike Namey of Pennsylvania. Anyone who has been around awhile has heard of Mike & Leo Namey, these gentlemen have had their share of winnings with these fine Mussolini's. The origin of these great birds is an importation of 3 pairs of "Champions" shipped direct from the former Dictator, Benito Mussolini of Italy in 1936. These bloodlines were crossed into Mike & Leo's own famous "Kelly" strain, these are some of the descendants "Kripple Kreek Lofts" has here today.
